This is the second thriller with Jessica Niemi as the main character. She works as a detective and she’s called in to solve a missing case. ‘The Ice coven’ tells the story of two missing people. Both happen to be influencers and have a large following on their social media accounts. The similarities between the two seem to stop there. Until a picture of the same lighthouse is posted on both their accounts.

But every way Jessica examines this case leads to nothing. When someone gets killed the pressure is on. What’s with the frog poison and why is this such a hype, all of a sudden? When a local pub draws the attention of the police force, Jessica makes friends with the bouncer. He’s kind and very good looking. But is it such a good idea for her to take their relationship to the next level?

Pub

Every lead seems to revolve around the pub, for instance. So, what does the bouncer know about all the goings on behind the scenes? And is he involved with human trafficking? And what, if any, does this have to do with the two missing people? You won’t know until the very end. When it all comes together you realize that the author has been thinking about this for some time.

Max Seeck

Max Seeck is a Finnish author and received a prestigious award for his first work. I’m curious to read more. I really like this suspenseful thriller. It’s an easy read and perfect for vacation or a day at the beach. I’ve been putting his name on my list of authors I want to read more of.
